Robot Birthday Card

Today we made a robot themed birthday card! We are starting with a simple card and over the next few weeks of camp, the cards will get more involved. The card on the right is my original sample. The card on the left is the one I made during the session.

In the card crafting world, there are different styles of cards. This card is an example of a CAS (clean and simple) card. Cards don't need to be fancy or elaborate to still have a visual impact. They can be made with a few supplies so they are a great style of card to try when you are starting out in card making and have a few supplies.

Here is a list of supplies I used to make this card. (Note: For all of the cards made in camp, I used the same black ink and cardstock so I will list it here but not on subsequent weeks. Another note: I've included some links to products but they can be found at multiple stores/sites.)

Thanks for crafting with me today! See you next week!

P.S. The video is posted! This was my first Zoom recording so please bear with the audio and video imperfections... Hopefully we'll figure out how to get the video a little better in the coming weeks! And hopefully you can still hear what I'm saying and see what I'm doing! Thanks for your understanding! 💕
